“I made this one night for my family, looked at a recipe for cooking times and to get an idea of what to put in it. Ended up improvising because I didn’t have all the ingredients I needed. Turned out really well and my family loved it!”

Ingredients

  • 10 chicken fillet pieces

  • 1/4 cup minced onion

  • 1/3 cup butter

  • 8 tbsp flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 2 cups shredded cheese

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 bag of boil-in-bag rice – cooked

  • salt & pepper

Directions

  • Boil chicken with onion until done.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In saucepan – melt butter – stir in flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  • Slowly stir in cold milk and cream of chicken soup.
  • Cook until thick.
  • Stir in cheese.
  • Combine chicken, rice, cream of mushroom soup, cheese sauce in a 9″ baking pan.
  • Add salt & pepper to taste.
  • Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
