Ingredients

  • 1 dozen eggs

Directions

  • Place eggs in a pot and cover with water
  • Sprinkle a little bit of salt in the water (supposed to keep the eggs from cracking)
  • Bring the water to a boil
  • Turn off heat and cover pot with a lid for 12 minutes
  • Plunge eggs into an ice bath
  • Peel and prepare the eggs for the dish you want to make

Notes

  • I didn’t have ice, so I had to use cold water, which worked well since it’s been cold weather.
