I made this pot roast for my family, from a frozen roast… and it turned out so juicy and tender!

Ingredients

  • 2-3lb beef roast

  • 3 cups water or beef broth

  • 3-4 carrots (peeled and chopped)

  • 3-4 potatoes (peeled and cubed)

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Place frozen roast in pot, season with your favorite seasonings/salt & pepper
  • Fill pot with 3 cups water or beef broth
  • Secure lid, select Pressure Cook, on high, for 60 minutes
  • Once cooking is finished, allow it to depressurize naturally, approximately 10 minutes. You’ll see the float valve go down flush with the lid.
  • Once safely depressurized, remove the lid and add chopped carrots and potatoes, and any other ingredients that you like.
  • There -should- be enough water from cooking the first round, but if it looks a little low, add another 1/2-1 cup of water.
  • Secure lid, select pressure cook and cook on high for another 30 minutes.
  • After it’s done cooking, you can either quick release or allow it to naturally depressureize.
  • The carrots and potatoes should be soft but not mushy, and the meat should fall apart.
  • Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

  • I only used potatoes and carrots, you can add any ingredients you want to it to make it your own!
